What I Want for Christmas

I know you guys are all wonderin’ what I want for Christmas. So I figured, what the hey. I’ll share my materialistic desires with you all.

Fender Rhodes Stage Piano
Gibson Acoustic/Electric with hardshell case…not picky, anything that sounds awesome.
Moleskines
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (NERD ALERT)
A Van for touring next year
A new Hello Somebody watch
New Deas Vail (I’m poor, still don’t have it.)
New Coldplay
Socks
Growing Pains
iPad!

I know it is super non-hip to share your wish list with people these days. And I know I’m probably going to get a few people camping out in my comment box with signs. But I felt like it would be fun nonetheless.

After Thanksgiving I got to think how super blessed I am. God gave me a family, a bed, running water, food, and above all salvation through His Son. I don’t take it for granted and I thank Jesus everyday.

I also have awesome friends like you. Thanks for caring enough to always keep up with me and what I’m doing in this musical world.

God bless,
OP

About owenpye

Owen Pye began playing in 2005, with just a guitar and a plan: To share music with willing listeners. As cliche as that may seem, it’s exactly what he’s doing. Pye was getting a lot of exposure on myspace, with his boastful 20,000 fans and thorough independently booked tour schedule in his early years supporting his debut album “If That’s Cool With You.” To date, Owen Pye has shared the stage with some of the best up and coming artists including Deas Vail (Mono VS. Stereo) Dr. Manhattan (Vagrant) and New London Fire (Eyeball.) He has independently booked over 250 shows in the United States. In 2008 he teamed up with some friends to form a consistent full-band line-up known as “Owen Pye & The Sunday School Band.” With the help of producer and engineer Andrew Osenga (Caedmon’s Call, The Normals) they released their self-titled record to the masses in late 2009. During the summer of 2010, Pye began his solo project with Blackroom Records. When asked about the upcoming project, Owen Pye responded, “This is very, very exciting and I am SO pumped to work with these folks for the next year in support of the record.” To learn more about Owen Pye, pickup a CD, download an MP3 or come out to a show near you. http://www.owenpye.com/

Super Smash Brothers Brawl is a necessity!

Also a buddy of ours got an iPad 1 on Craigs list for $150. Not bad… And if you wait for the 3 to come out, normal poor folk like us may be able to afford it. Yip Yip!

Hey, I can handle the socks again, O! ;o)
